Viscosity and absorption order

Watery hydrators go before rich occlusives, so each layer sits where it should.

Ingredient conflict detection

Spot duplicate retinoids, stacked exfoliating acids and needless overlap.

  • PM: Retinol and 7% glycolic acid in one session raises irritation risk. Move glycolic to alternate nights.
  • AM: Salicylic toner after Vitamin C. Apply the toner first on clean skin, or rotate the two.

Day and night balancing

Sun-sensitive actives move to night; daytime protects your barrier.
